Olumide Oworu aka Tari Reveals His Reason For Going Into Public Service
The Lagos state house of assembly candidate, Olumide Oworu has finally come out to tell Nigerians why he suddenly switched professions from acting to public service.
It is no longer news that Olumide Oworu is the Lagos state House of Assembly candidate, Surulere constituency under the umbrella of the Labour Party.
Fans of the television star have since asked the question of why the young and promising actor would drift into politics at such age. This is the answer he gave.
In an interview, Olumide reveals to the public that his reason for joining the public service is because this is a very crucial time in Nigeria’s democratic history.
He adds that for the longest time, Nigerians have seeking youth’s inclusion in the Nigerian government. He also states that they have never had a better opportunity to be a part of the government than now.
He says that he represents a demographic that has innovative ideas that would better the government process.
When asked if he was prepared for the role, he said that he understood the context of his age and the idea of inexperience politically but adds that his journey in life has prepared him for this position.
