After 21years, Aki Opens up on serious challenge with his Fans around the world
Nollywood movie sensation, Chinedu Ikedieze popularly known as Aki has finally come out to reveal some of the challenges he has been going through since his rise into stardom. Many of which are very recent.
In a recent Instagram video, Aki, the beloved 45-year-old actor, advised his followers and fans against asking him for money. He expressed his surprise at a particular Instagram user who audaciously requested a staggering sum of N29 million.
He said;
Guys, I dey vex o. I am not happy. This thing is getting out of hand. How can you people turn my DM to Bank of Industry? If I open my DM every time all I see is ‘oga, bros please…please… please…’ Jesus! It is too much,”
“The way you guys dey beg this thing it is like say we no get responsibility.
“If I start to share the money like that, it will finish. Any time I open my DM ‘Oga my mother is this’, ‘My oga is this’. Imagine someone begging me for $35,000, approximately N27 million. Another one was asking me for $12,000 he wants to open a shop.
He added that the issue at hand extends beyond Nigerians alone. He said Please understand. It seems that you all have created an impression that we possess a hidden reserve of money and that it is obligatory for us to meet your needs. No, it is not obligatory. The current economic crisis is affecting everyone severely.
The Nollywood actor made it clear that these people begging him money should stop making it look like something bad is going to befall them if they do not respond to their needs.
